Samantha Turner joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association as a player development coach in June 2015 where she works directly with the softball and the swimming & diving teams.

Prior her arrival on The Flats, she was a sports performance graduate assistant at Stanford University from 2013-15. She also served as a strength and conditioning coach at the Catalyst Institute from 2011-13 and also worked as a strength and conditioning coach with USA Hockey in the summer of 2012.

While working towards her degree, Turner was a performance specialist intern at the Athletes’ Performance and a strength and conditioning intern at both the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the University of North Dakota.

She is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).

Turner graduated from North Dakota in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She earned her master’s degree in exercise physiology from San Jose State University in 2015.
